It is often said that reading books and collecting them are two different hobbies, and the Autumn Old and Antique Book Fair of Madrid is the ideal place for both public and the other: along its booths you can find everything from readings at more than affordable prices to authentic bibliographic jewels for collectors.
The Paseo de Recoletos, between Cibeles and Almirante Street, is once again the place where LIBRIS, the Association of Old Booksellers, together with the Madrid City Council, organizes this emblematic event which is now in its 35th edition and is a unique opportunity to take home hard-to-find volumes.
On this occasion 34 Spanish bookstores will participate with a catalog that, as detailed by the organization, includes “a wide variety of copies, with prices from one euro to the most coveted antique books, bibliophile’s dream, such as first editions, incunabula, original manuscripts, engravings, rare editions, etc.”.
