Starting this Saturday, October 25, the recently inaugurated exhibition Warhol, Pollock and other American spaces can be visited free of charge at the Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza from 9pm to 11pm as part of the Thyssen Nights initiative.
The proposal, which since September 27 has been carried out through the sponsorship of Uber, opens the doors of the museum at night so that the public can visit the temporary exhibitions on the first floor and floor -1 free of charge.
The aforementioned exhibition -whose access is free until full capacity is reached- brings together more than a hundred works, many never seen in Spain, not only by Warhol and Pollock, but also by artists such as Rothko, Helen Frankenthaler, Marisol Escobar and Lee Krasner.
Free exhibitions you can visit during Thyssen Nights

The exhibition will remain at the museum until next January 25, 2026, but it’s not the only show you’ll be able to visit as part of Thyssen Nights.
From November 4 to February 8, floor -1 will host the most experimental and ambitious proposal to date by British artist John Akomfrah: under the title Listening to the Rain All Night, the artist will explore concepts such as postcolonialism, ecology and aesthetics through a series of immersive installations of multichannel cinema and sound.
On the other hand, when there is no temporary exhibition on the first floor, it will be the Carmen Thyssen Collection that will be open free of charge to visitors.

Since its inception, it has enabled thousands of people to visit free of charge major exhibitions throughout this year, such as Proust and the ArtsTarek Atoui. At-Tāriq, Terrafilia. Beyond the Human in the Thyssen-Bornemisza Collections, or Anna Weyant.
