The September festivities are spread throughout Madrid, from north to south and from east to west. The verbenas go all over the Community.
The best way to deal with the post-holiday depression is a patron saint party, with a squid sandwich or with chicken and while listening to a free concert. There are so many artists and so many different genres that will be touring the Community during the month, that it is easy to fit one of these performances into your agenda. It is also a good excuse to do regional tourism and get out of the city center.
