Excitement surrounding the San Isidro Festival, named after Madrid’s patron saint, seems to grow every year. In addition to all the elements of the most traditional customs—such as dressing up as a chulapo or chulapa, spending the day in the meadow, drinking water from the fountain, or dancing a chotis—the announcement of the free concerts is one of the most eagerly awaited news items every year. And following the preview a few days ago of performances by Los Chunguitos and La Bien Querida, the Madrid City Council has now announced the full lineup of free concerts for the 2026 San Isidro Festival in Madrid.
There will be around thirty concerts spread across the usual venues for these festivities: San Isidro Park, Las Vistillas Gardens, Plaza Mayor, and Plaza de Matadero Madrid. Among the names on this year’s lineup are Los Chunguitos, Fangoria, and Miguel Ríos, as well as La Bien Querida, La Paloma, Carlangas, and Triángulo de Amor Bizarro.
Below, we break them all down by date and venue.
