In a weekend in which events such as San Isidro coincide (with a complete program and all its concerts in this link), Madrid refuses to stay without celebrating its version of the Feria de Abril 2025. From Thursday May 8 to Sunday May 11, the Prosperidad Market (Calle López de Hoyos, 81) will be the stage for this event where the best of the south – flamenco, sevillanas, rebujito – will be mixed with the best of the north.
The Prosperidad Market is an institution as far as markets are concerned. Inaugurated in 1954, it is one of the great municipal and food markets of Madrid. It has 32 stalls including food, gastronomy and services, and throughout the year it takes advantage of special festivities to organize celebrations, such as the one starting this Thursday, May 8, which are already a tradition in the neighborhood.
