Buying blind can be fun and intriguing or risky and impractical, depending on the consumer. Some find collecting surprise items to be a hobby. Just as sticker albums triumphed ten years ago, so do blind boxes, small Asian-designed boxes containing figures inspired by entertainment sagas such as The Supergirls, Lilo and Stitch or Toy Story. They have become very fashionable because of the sweet emotion generated by opening them and their careful packaging (yes, as has happened with the highly demanded Sonny Angels).
The center of Madrid hides the new temple of blind boxes in Spain. It is located in Calle de la Luna (number 28) and has more than 100 collections of dolls imported from China (some of them impossible to see in other stores in the country). It will open for the first time to the public on Friday, April 4, inviting the exchange of figurines and conversation among attendees.

Blind Box is not the only store in the capital with surprise boxes. The new Miniso store in Gran Vía has a kawaii aisle dedicated to collecting figurines. Characters from Tom & Jerry, Winnie-the-Pooh and many other animated films have their miniature in this space.
A few meters away from Miniso Land, on Leganitos Street, is Sugoi Station: a place full of Asian products, including blind boxes. All references to anime and manga culture stand out here.
