BuzzAttack, the immersive game that brings the energy of afternoon TV game shows to a real set, is expanding its reach in Madrid. After a successful run in Chamberí and due to high demand, the experience is opening a new venue on September 18 at X-Madrid, the famous shopping center in Alcorcón, featuring the familiar podiums, the giant wheel as the centerpiece, and challenging team-based challenges. The show stays true to its original concept: no screens or sofas, just an iconic set where the audience becomes a contestant firsthand.
Before the game begins, while having a drink in the waiting room, each group chooses the topics they want the questions to focus on—ranging from the World Cup to the latest season of *House of the Dragon*, including *The Devil Wears Prada 2*—so the game ends up reflecting the players’ interests quite closely. A virtual host sets the pace of the game while the teams (up to 12 people per session) spread out across the podiums, compete in rounds, and battle for victory amid laughter, nerves, and the occasional “wild card” shouted from the back.

As soon as you step into the newly opened studio, the change in atmosphere is evident: spotlights, podiums, and a roulette wheel taking center stage— this isn’t an escape room with trivia questions, but a full-fledged tribute to the classic game show.
The format debuting in Alcorcón retains the same rounds that have made the Chamberí venue a success, each with its own unique character. The music round tends to be the most nerve-wracking: the first chords ring out, the answer is on the tip of your tongue, and the timer is unforgiving.
Next comes the general knowledge round, where that capital city no one can remember or that historical date that stumps the whole group always pops up. And to wrap things up, the reflexes round requires eliminating options at breakneck speed, with no time to overthink. In between each round are familiar mini-games, where the wheel takes center stage and the current leader might just fall behind… you never know what the wheel will land on. That’s what the game is all about. That’s where the team that was in the lead can end up in last place in a matter of seconds.
With the opening of the new venue, the content continues to be tailored to the type of group—bachelor/bachelorette parties, birthdays, or team-building events —with questions that blend pop culture, generational references, and the option for a more irreverent tone for those looking to laugh without holding back.
