There are few stores in Madrid that could be the scene of You’ve got an email (Nora Ephron, 1999) or Nothing Hill (Roger Michell, 1999), the flower shop of Sall Hambleton (Gabriel Lobo Street, 10) certainly belongs to that small universe of romantic movies of the late 90s, but much more at Christmas.
Sally Hambleton’s XMAS Shop, opened on November 13, has opened its doors to welcome Christmas with a proposal inspired by the London Christmas Markets. This year, the flower shop is transformed into a store that combines its British charm with traditional elements in a space decorated with fir trees, garlands, warm lights and natural wreaths, unique ornaments, handcrafted gifts, floral arrangements, pottery and antiques.
Sally Hambleton’s Xmas Shop is more than a flower shop.

The holiday store is open from Nov. 13 to Dec. 8 and Dec. 15 to Jan. 5. In the break in between there will be creative workshops on how to make your own Christmas wreath, or how to make centerpiece decorations. In addition, there will be other activities such as a carol recital with a children’s choir that will take place on December 1 at 7:30 p.m., as well as a chocolate bar, perfect to combat the cold with sweets and nougat collection.
Sally Hambleton has turned her Christmas pop-up into more than just a place to buy something special, it is a meeting point for festive decoration enthusiasts and a reference for Christmas trends in the city.
The XMAS Shop reaffirms the importance of giving with care and decorating the house with flowers, making this small flower shop in Madrid one of the hot spots of the holidays.
