Among the Christmas markets that are installed every year in Madrid there is a rara avis: although it also has craft stalls and gifts, its main attraction is gastronomy. We are talking about the Christmas market -and gastro- of Nuevos Ministerios, which returns this Thursday, November 13.
The event is organized by El Corte Inglés de Castellana (Calle Raimundo Fernández Villaverde, 65) and in this edition the market, which is installed in the parking area of this department store, can be visited until January 5, 2026.
As for the gastronomic part, this year’s offer will feature foodtrucks that are already regulars, such as Arzábal, Malvon, El Brillante, New York Burger, Beata Pasta, Cañitas Maite or the famous Pollos Muñoz, of the Madrid chef Dabiz Muñoz. In the field of the most traditional, Vicens nougat and San Ginés churros will be present again.
La Cocreta, The Cookie Lab, Joselito, Demasié and new additions such as the foodtruck Café de París, Tepic, Kricky Pelton or Quispe will also be represented.
Craft booths, gifts and a light show.
In addition to the wide gastronomic offer, strolling among its booths – which emulate those of the typical Central European Christmas markets –, you can find decorations for the tree and the nativity scene, lights, flowers, typical sweets and others dedicated to Disney or Lego.
On the other hand, as usual, there will also be a music and light show, “creating a magical atmosphere that will make you feel the Christmas spirit in every corner,” according to the company.
It will be projected on the El Corte Inglés building, which is located right in front of the Nuevos Ministerios street market.

- Monday to Sunday: stalls from 12:00 to 22:00 h and catering and foodtrucks from 12:00h to 23:00h.
Special opening hours
- November 16, 23 and 30: both booths and catering from 12:00h to 22:00h.
- December 24 and 31: from 12:00h to 17:00h.
- January 5, 2026: from 12:00h to 22:00h.
- Closed: December 25 and January 1.
