Thomas Price, a horse tamer and member of a great family of acrobats, founded his own circus in the Paseo de Recoletos back in the 19th century. What was then known as the Circo de Price is today the Teatro Circo Price: a unique space in Madrid where humor and music continue to reign. Ventriloquists, singers, jugglers, fakirs, magicians and trapeze artists are part of its program in 2025.
Highlights of the program
Inverfest: from pop to indie with the Spanish artists of the moment
This year, the stage of the Teatro Circo Price hosts the most fashionable Spanish singers and groups. Judeline, María José Llergo, Niño de Elche and many other names from the Spanish music industry will join the program. The concerts, framed within the Inverfest, have very affordable prices (between 15 and 30 euros), so -as areminder-tickets are flying.
Two festivals and a circus laboratory
Throughout the year there will be special events related to the circus world. From February 6 to March 9, the fifteenth edition of the Madrid International Magic Festival will be held, bringing together great magicians and illusionists from around the world.
The Ibero-American Circus Festival (FIRCO) will also be held here: a gala in which young artists will present their magical proposals to a specialized jury from October 3 to 5.
From September 12 to 14, the Carampa Circus School will organize a new edition of the Contemporary Circus Creation Laboratory (CRECE). This project gives an opportunity to new artists who move away from the classic show.
