This October, Madrid will welcome legendary artists, promising bands that are just beginning to carve out their careers, national pop stars, iconic voices… A hodgepodge of musical styles will come together this month with concerts in halls, theaters and large arenas. And a note: in case anyone doubted it, post-punk is back (with lots and lots of strength).
Ganavya (October 14)
Ganavya was born in New York but grew up in India and later returned to New York. This journey between two worlds is an essential part of his work and how he conceives music: as an unstoppable journey in which the folklore of both destinations is present.
Tickets: from 20€.
Where: Sala El Sol, Jardines street, 3 (Sala Sol)
Lacuna Coil (October 16th)
Goth metal never disappeared and, who knows, if it will return to the path of the new generations now that everything seems to indicate that the guitar is back, that trap is in its death throes and that post punk bands shine. Lacuna Coil is the Italian reference of the genre that since the 90’s transforms gothic metal into a melodic dream (by the voices of Cristina Scabbia and Andrea Ferro).
Tickets: 38,50€.
Where: La Riviera, on Paseo Bajo. La Riviera, at Paseo Bajo de la Virgen del Puerto, 3A (Arganzuela)
The Beths (October 16)
They say of The Beths that they are something like “the guardians of the indie-pop heritage“. And it is possible that they are one of the few bands that remain faithful to the guitar pop of the 80’s without fusions. Simply, being faithful and updating the genre.
Tickets: from 20€.
Where: Sala Nazca Live, in Orense street, 24 (Tetuán)
Fred Again… (October 17)

He’s back. And he’s back almost by surprise, giving notice just a few days before the concert: it will be Friday, October 17, and he will present his project 10 weeks, 10 songs, 10 cities. This event is, as it sounds, the presentation of the artist’s new album song by song, city by city, week by week: in Madrid he will present a new single that is presumed to be the key moment of the night.
The concert will start at 10.30pm and will end at 6am with a capacity of 9,500 people. Fred Again… will present his DJ set accompanied by Skin On Skin, DREA and Toccororo.
Tickets: from 70€.
Where: IFEMA Madrid
Guitarricadelafuente (October 17)
The Guitarricadelafuente phenomenon has come like a whirlwind to sweep in ticket sales, radio hits and references. Numerous artists (such as Damiano David) have mentioned the Valencian as an influence or even as a hook (the Italian says, he has even tattooed a verse, that he can not stop listening to the success of ‘Guantamera’ by Guitarrica).
Tickets: from 39,60€
Where: Movistar Arena, at Calle de Goya, 90 (Salamanca district)
Kae Tempest (October 19)
Kae Tempest is a British poet, rapper, playwright and writer. His specialty is the spoken word and instructed verses that lead him to talk about the daily struggle, identity, spirituality … his commitment on stage can only be understood with the commitment and activism that he executes off stage.
Tickets: from 35,50€
Where: La Riviera, on Paseo Bajo. La Riviera, in Paseo Bajo de la Virgen del Puerto, 3A (Arganzuela)
Joaquín Sabina (October 20 and 22)
An expected but not assumed farewell: Sabina closes, with a generous list of concerts, his passage through the stages. He says goodbye to the roads, theaters, halls… from the Movistar Arena stadium. For those who can’t make it, don’t worry: he will also play for three days in November.
Tickets: from 57€.
Where: Movistar Arena, at 90 Goya Street (Salamanca neighborhood).
Soft Loft (October 22)
They flee from the term “band”; they want to be (and are) collective. Because these five musicians create concepts, artistic projects, of an expansive, emotional sonority… A delight.
Tickets:from 16,20€.
Where: Wurlitzer Ballroom, at Calle de las Tres Cruces, 12 (Downtown).
Manuel Turizo (October 23)
From Colombia to his first Movistar Arena: Manuel Turizo lands here in the middle of his ‘201’ tour to perform live songs like ‘La bachata’, ‘Una lady como tú’ and ‘Copa vacía’. And he will make us dance, as he made Broncano dance in La Revuelta.
Tickets: from 30€.
Where: Movistar Arena, at 90 Goya Street (Salamanca neighborhood).
Dry Cleaning (October 23)
Post-punk is back (and in a very strong way). We can confirm it with the return of iconic bands (like She Past Away) but also with the arrival of new names that dignify the scene, honor it and, in addition, give it a twist. This is what happens with Dry Cleaning, which Primavera Tours (promoter of the event) qualifies as post post-punk. We will have to listen to them.
Tickets:from 23,40€.
Where: Teatro Barceló, at Calle Barceló, 11 (Malasaña)
Spirit of the Beehive (October 24)
Psychedelic rock with Philadelphia flavor and with an unbreakable patina that takes us to Lynch, yes, to Lynch. To a strange, dystopian, dark and even ridiculous universe. The strangeness, the self-absorption. A hardly definable band.
Tickets:from 16,20€.
Where: Sala Nazca Live, 24 Orense Street (Tetuán).
Loquillo (October 24)
Loquillo is celebrating its anniversary: 47 years of career. He celebrates it with a big tour and a new album: Corazones legendarios . A choral album, in which each song reviews the career of José María Sanz but intervened by another artist, with duets with Alaska, Tarque, Coque Malla, Leiva…
Tickets:from 40€.
Where: Movistar Arena, at 90 Goya Street (Salamanca district).
Bar Italia (October 24th)
The sound is filthy, the distortion invades everything, the lo-fi religion devoutly monopolizes every sound? Bar Italia is something grunge and very “nightmare pop” (that is to say, that dark format of dream pop).
Tickets:from 20€.
Where: Sala Mon, at 36, Hilarión Eslava street (Chamberí).
ORTIGA (October 25)
Another of the essential concerts of the Mazo Madrid cycle: ORTIGA is defined as “the latin boy of the Galician alternative scene” and oscillates between the orchestras of the popular parties and the perreo all the way down. Blessed glory.
Tickets: 16,51€.
Where: Sala Copérnico, at Calle Fernández de los Ríos, 67 (Chamberí)
Robert Finley (October 25)
24 hours after Bar Italia’s performance at Sala Mon, the venue will welcome Robert Finley. Finley is 71 years old, born and raised in Louisiana and his musical project comes from the gut: he is the voice of soul, the spirit of the blues.
Tickets:from 25€.
Where: Sala Mon, at 36 Hilarión Eslava Street (Chamberí).
Isabella Lovestory (October 28)
She comes from Honduras, from the influencer world of TikTok, from modeling, from brilli-brilli. From the darkness. It is difficult to define Lovestory but perhaps her second album, Vanity, reflects in a purer way everything she wants to tell and how she wants to tell it: hedonism and low culture coexist in her and she makes it known in songs that are framed within the contemporary Latin pop.
Tickets:from 18€.
Where: Sala Nazca Live, 24 Orense St. (Tetuán).
Jesse Baez (October 29th)
They say about Jesse Baez that he loves the series The Office, that he also loves Spain and, for sure, we can affirm, he loves the old voices, those of the purest and hottest R&B. Years ago he was called the “wunderkind of Latin R&B”. We confirm.
Tickets:from 22€.
Where: Sala BUT, Calle de Barceló, 11 (Malasaña)
María Somerville (October 29)
What a great land, Ireland. And what a great artistic moment it is living, with bands like Kneecap or Fontaines D.C. But there are also more subtle sounds that can go under the radar… and we’re not willing to do that. Somerville composes a dreamy, subtle, intoxicating dream-folk, inspired by the Connemara coast.
Tickets:from 18€.
Where: Sala Nazca Live, 24 Orense St. (Tetuán)
Duki (October 27, 28, 29)
If we tell you Mauro Ezequiel Lombardo, you probably don’t know who we are talking about. But Duki… Duki is already an emblem. Considered one of the most influential artists of the urban scene in Argentina, he came to light after winning several freestyle battles and today fills stadiums like the Movistar Arena for three days in a row.
Tickets: from 60€
Where: Movistar Arena, at 90, Goya Street (Salamanca neighborhood)
FADES (October 31)
You may not know FADES but are you familiar with Catalonian Girls, the Mediterranean version of Katy Perry’s California Gurls? October bids farewell to Madrid with a concert that will delight lovers of the underground and the subaltern.
Tickets:from 16€.
Where: Sala B, 6 Trafalgar St. (Chamberí).
Bush (October 31)
Who ever sighed listening to Gavin Rossdale, knows it. Bush are one of the totems of the music of the 90s and their album Sixteen Stone (1994), with singles like Glycerine and Machinehead, absolute icon for those who love grunge.
Tickets: from 65 ¤
Where: Palacio Vistalegre Palacio Vistalegre in Calle de Utebo, 1 (Carabanchel)
Viva Suecia (October 31)
Yes, it is sold out. Also the second date that the band announced for March 2026. Viva Suecia are at their peak and these two sold out concerts at the Movistar Arena prove it. The shows will be the welcome to the new album, the live presentation of the new work after a summer full of festivals.
Where: Movistar Arena, Goya Street, 90 (Salamanca neighborhood).
