Life in Madrid when temperatures rise and summer approaches (the best time to live in the city) has something of Groundhog Day. Year after year the events return to this recurrence and one gets confused whether one experienced such circumstance in 2023, 2022 or 2021 or if one saw it in a TikTok.
One such event is the concerts that take place at the Reina Sofia Museum (in the plaza of the Nouvel building), the result of a collaboration between the museum itself and Radio 3 as a result of the International Museum Day.
As if there was an intention to break a Guinness World Record, there will be up to fifty live concerts uninterruptedly for 17 hours: from 7 am to midnight. The ticket, as every year, is free until full capacity is reached – and, believe us, the capacity is full.
