Four Seasons Hotel Madrid: majesty and elegance at the Canalejas Complex
This five-star hotel is a renovated space of more than 50,000m2 in which seven historic buildings belonging to former banks were located , such as the Palacio de la Equitativa, declared an Asset of Cultural Interest. One of the hotel’s entrances was once a safe, and four others are still preserved as jewelry display cases.

The Palace of the Dukes of Santoña is a 19th century architectural jewel located in the neighborhood of Las Letras. Built between 1730 and 1740 in neoclassical style, it was the residence of the nobility and today houses the Chamber of Commerce of Madrid. It stands out for its luxurious interior decoration and its rich history, linked to illustrious figures of Madrid society such as the Marquis of Salamanca.
Teatro Albéniz: a recently renovated historic venue
Opened in 1945 and designed by Manuel Ambrós Escanellas, the Teatro Albéniz is a prominent cultural building in Madrid that hosted musical, theatrical and film performances before its closure in 2008. In 2022 it reopened as part of the UMusic Hotel Madrid after a complete refurbishment, preserving its historic elements and also its renown in Madrid’s cultural scene.
Ateneo de Madrid: a cultural reference point
It is the most important private cultural institution in contemporary Spanish history,promoted by a group of intellectuals and politicians as a consequence of the resistance during Napoleon’s invasion. The headquarters of the institution is currently located in the modernist building on Prado Street, which has a splendid neo-Greek style auditorium designed by Arturo Mélida.
