Dabiz Muñoz is not only in the news when he wins an award, announces the relocation of his star restaurant, or when there is debate about the prices of his menus: he is also in the news when he talks about or gives his opinion on other gastronomic projects. In a recent interview, the Madrid-based chef recommended a good restaurant in the capital where you can eat for less than €20.
The man considered one of the best chefs in the world has starred in one of the interviews with chefs that are common on the TikTok profile of gastro content creator Kino Jerez, in which he asks them questions such as what is the best restaurant in Madrid or, as in the case at hand, where to eat for less than €20.
Muñoz has chosen to recommend the restaurant Gustoo, located at stall 21 in the San Antón Market (Calle de Augusto Figueroa, 24, 2nd floor), and has justified his answer as follows: “It’s a wonderful place, it’s a fresh, different place, with flavor.”
Muñoz also has a connection to the restaurant—or more specifically to the chef behind it—in that it is “a place run by a guy who worked with us, Aldo, and he’s a chef who I think is very talented, “ he said.
