If you weren’t at the concerts Ed Sheeran gave at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid last week on the occasion of The Mathematics Tour , you may have seen him in the stories of a friend? or you may even have bumped into him around town.
The Halifax singer didn’t want to miss out on his trip to Spain and has made the most of his visit to the capital with an itinerary that has taken him from some of the most traditional stops to others that are more familiar to him.
This has been Ed Sheeran’s route in Madrid, which he has summarized in a phrase in his networks: “Came to Madrid for the shows, stayed for the vibes” (“Vine a Madrid para los shows, me quedé por las vibras”).
Churrería 1883
The oldest churrería in the capital was one of the stops Ed Sheeran made in Madrid. There he put on his apron to see up close how churros are prepared and even dared to make some.

The singer stopped at several places in the Malasaña neighborhood. He stopped by some of its vintage stores, where he tried on some accessories, visited the most emblematic square of the neighborhood -the Plaza del 2 de Mayo- and streets like La Palma.

In the itinerary could not miss a gastonomic stop, and for this the singer opted for a safe option: the seal of quality of the kitchen of Dabiz Muñoz.
In an Instagram story shared by the Madrid chef himself, the singer can be heard evaluating one of the dishes he tried during his visit: “Fucking amazing“ (something we could translate as “Jodidamente increíble”).
