Spain will face England in the Euro 2024 final on Sunday at 9pm, and the preparations are already ramping up in Madrid. The match will be broadcast on a huge 350-square-meter screen at the Palacio de Hielo, ensuring both Spanish and English fans can experience every moment of the action in style.
Spain triumphed 2-1 in their semi-final, with a standout performance from 16-year-old Lamine Yamal, while England were victorious in their dramatic 2-1 semi-final against the Netherlands, thanks to Ollie Watkins’ late stoppage-time winner, meaning Gareth Southgate’s men are through to their second consecutive European Championship final.
For those here in Madrid, the final will be broadcast live on the huge screen of the Palacio de Hielo (Calle Silvano, 77), which, according to organizers, is the largest in Madrid.
Admission to watch the Spain-England Euro 2024 final match at the Palacio de Hielo is free and open until its full capacity of 1,500 people is reached.
Other Euro 2024 final public screenings in Madrid
Two more giant screens will be set up in Plaza de Colón and Puente del Rey, allowing people to watch the end of the European Championship for free.
The Mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, announced on his X profile (formerly Twitter) that the City Council will install a total of three giant screens for Madrid residents to follow the match, similar to what was done for the semifinal against France.
“In Madrid, everyone with the national team! So that the people of Madrid can cheer on @SEFutbol in the final of the European Championship this Sunday, we will install three giant screens in two locations in Madrid, Plaza de Colón and Puente del Rey,” he wrote on the social network.
