The first supermarket in Madrid’s Puerta del Sol will open its doors next week. As reported by the Idealista website, the premises where until now a Parfois was located will become a commercial establishment where you can buy almost any kind of products: from food to cleaning.
It will be at number 4 and the inauguration is scheduled for next Friday, October 11, as can be read on a tarpaulin placed on the shutter of the premises.
Although in the vicinity of this emblematic square in Madrid you can find a supermarket in the basement of one of the buildings of El Corte Ingles, which is scheduled to open in just under 10 days will be the first to open at street level and will do so under the seal of the Carrefour chain.
According to the same website, this first Carrefour supermarket in Puerta del Sol will be one of its “City” stores, which are coming to the capital for the first time.
What will the new supermarket in Puerta del Sol be like?
The brand itself defines this store concept as “the proximity point of sale for efficient shopping in the heart of the city. In a cozy and modern atmosphere for everyday shopping, the store offers a wide range of products and extended opening hours to meet all your needs.”
For the moment, the store does not yet appear in the list of Carrefour stores in the Community of Madrid – which you can consult at this link – nor is it known what the opening hours of this new store will be.
