The pioneering Gastronomic Days that triumphed in Leganés last year with its spoon dishes return this 2025 focused on the flavors of the seasonal garden, offering full menus (first, second, dessert and drink) for 30 €. The date of this second edition has already been set and will take place between March 5 and 16 in different premises of the municipality of Puebla.
This time the protagonists of the elaborations will be seasonal products such as pumpkin, red cabbage, leek or cauliflower, “allowing each establishment to demonstrate their creativity and culinary quality,” says the City Council of Leganes.
With this initiative the municipality wants to consolidate itself as a gastronomic reference at regional level, making known “in Leganés and neighboring towns the great quality of our restaurants”, in the words of the councilman of Local Development and Commerce, José Marín.

The deadline for restaurants wishing to participate in the conference will be open until Friday, February 21, so no names have yet been announced.
However, what we do know is that more than 20 establishments have registered in Sabores de la Huerta and that soon a website will be created “that will bring together all participating establishments, the complete menus of each of them, their address, hours, phone numbers, and all information of interest”.
This is not the only initiative with which Leganés wants to ensure a prominent place in the gastronomic panorama of the Community of Madrid: last November it hosted The Champions Burger, in December it organized the largest Christmas gastronomic fair in the region and it has also organized its own tapas route through the municipality.
