Within the official programming of Veranos de la Villa 2025, Matadero Madrid hosts on August 15 and 16 ROGU: Art of Fire – Mobius, a free outdoor show that promises to surprise family and adult audiences with a hypnotic fusion of fire, movement and contemporary art. The Irish artistic trio ROGU, an international reference in fire manipulation and scenic dance, presents Mobius, a 35-minute piece where dance, martial arts techniques and visual effects come together to bring flames to life in collective and individual choreographies.
The manipulation of fire becomes here an artistic language: a show where the artists challenge the limits between circus, physical theater and contemporary ritual, in a staging designed specifically for Matadero’s summer nights. Children and adults will enjoy the visual poetry, skill and emotion of an ancient art reinterpreted for today’s audiences. It is a free event that expands access to culture in one of the nerve centers of Madrid’s summer.
