Until now, anyone who wanted to try one of Pan Pájaro Pan’s wildly popular crispy chicken sandwiches had to keep an eye out for where and when Andrea Núñez and Alejandro Peré would set up their next pop-up, and make sure to arrive before the “sold out” sign went up. But those days will soon be behind us: they’re opening their first permanent location in the capital in just a few days.
For this milestone in their career , they’ve chosen the Carabanchel district, specifically a location at 1 Alcaudón Street—very close to the San Isidro meadow—: a permanent spot from which to serve their famous takeout sandwiches, which they’ll start preparing and serving again this Saturday, March 21.
That won’t be the only thing on the menu at this new spot: Pan Pájaro Pan will be a place where you can order pastries, breakfast, sandwiches, and weekday lunch specials ( Wednesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.), as well as their fried chicken sandwich with fries and a drink on Saturdays and Sundays starting at 1 p.m. until supplies last.
The latest: pre-orders for their chicken sandwiches

Although this opening will bring some changes, the expectation is that the success their sandwiches have already enjoyed in the past will, at the very least, continue in the present and the future.
That’s why, to avoid long lines or people finding out that items are sold out when they arrive, they’ve set up a pre-order system for their special weekend menu.
Here’s how it works: every Tuesday, the system opens so you can choose the menu (spicy or original) from home, select the quantity, day, and time, and by providing your name, you can pick it up on the selected date. You can also order directly at the restaurant, but in that case, availability isn’t guaranteed.
