One of the most anticipated events of Christmas in Madrid already has a return date: the German Christmas market, held in the German Evangelical Church Friedenskirche (Paseo de la Castellana, 6), in the Salamanca neighborhood, will take place later this month: between 28 and 30 November 2025.
Just a few days after the Christmas lights have been switched on in the city, the temple will become a market in the purest Central European style, which attracts so many visitors every year.
Specifically, the market will offer items such as books, jewelry, gifts, Christmas decorations, kitsch and art, toys, Advent wreaths, mulled wine and German specialties.
Not only will it be possible to buy the first Christmas gifts or taste the country’s typical gastronomy, but there will also be entertainment, such as a tombola and children’s programming on Saturday afternoon. The event poster adds a mysterious “and much more…”.
Tickets for the German Christmas market.

To attend the flea market you must have a ticket: they are already on sale and can be purchased through the Eventbrite platform (only for November 28 and 29).
The price is 7 € (plus the Eventbrite fee), and the organization specifies that the price “already includes 5 € as a bonus for drinks“. On the other hand, the entrance is free for children under 12 years old.
On the other hand, to make the experience as satisfactory as possible for those who come there, from the church ask that attendees limit “their presence to the time slot you have chosen,” to avoid long waiting times and repeat the image of the crowded market of other years.

They also have an online store where you can find handmade advent wreaths and Christmas cookies.
Market hours
- Friday, November 28th: from 6pm to 10pm
- Saturday, November 29th: from 2pm to 10pm
- Sunday, November 30th: from 12h to 16h
