It is, undoubtedly, one of the exhibitions that will give more to talk about these months: the Lisbon artist Joana Vasconcelos in the Palacio de Liria (Calle de la Princesa, 20). It is there where, from today, you can visit the exhibition Flamboyant. Joana Vasconcelosin which her works of monumental dimensions dialogue with the historical and artistic heritage housed in the building. And, as just announced by the City Council of the capital, the exhibition will be completely free to visit.
Compared to the 23€ that until now cost a ticket to visit Vasconcelos’ interventions in the halls and gardens of the palace, and thanks to an agreement between the Madrid consistory and the Palacio de Liria, the exhibition will be free every non-holiday Monday at 10 am until full capacity is reached (which is 40 people).
Joana Vasconcelos’ work -including recent and iconic creations such as Valkyrie Thyra, Marylin or Carmen-can be visited for 0€ until July 31 in this emblematic palace, surrounded by pieces by other artists such as Velázquez, Goya, Rubens, Titian or Murillo.
How to see Joana Vasconcelos’ works for free?

To attend the free visits of the exhibition it is necessary to book a ticket in advance. It will be every Monday at 12 noon when the reservation of free tickets for the following week will be enabled, until full capacity is reached. Once this happens, the website will not allow any more reservations until the following Monday.
