Where do lost packages from online stores end up? King Colis knows and has decided to bring them back to the market in the form of surprise boxes. Through its website and pop-up stores, the company offers lost products at very affordable prices.
After its great success in capitals such as Paris, Rome or Berlin, King Colis brings its surprise packages to Madrid for a limited time: the shopping center La Gavia (Vallecas) has just opened its doors to this shopping experience with a pop-up store full of orders -in total, ten tons of mysterious boxes- that never reached their recipients (in many cases due to a mistake when writing the pick-up point).
King Colis is committed to an environmentally responsible approach by promoting the circular economy and trying to reduce the pollution caused by missing online orders. It optimizes logistical resources and prevents orders from ending up in landfills.
The ephemeral store carries everything from technology products to fashion apparel, toys, cosmetics and more. Opening the boxes before buying them is completely forbidden: the fun of the experience is for everyone to try to guess what’s inside and rely on luck.
As for prices, they vary according to the weight and category of the order: for every 100 grams you pay €1.90 if the box is standard category, and €2.79 if it is premium.

The thrill of opening a surprise package after buying it has become the capital’s new addiction. This year, the center hosts a store with boxes from Aliexpress, Temu, Shein, Amazon and other kings of online commerce. In this video we tell our experience there.
