
Having access to a greater variety of products such as vegetables, fruits, cheeses or local or kilometer 0 sweets without having to leave their neighborhood. This is what the residents of Latina will be able to enjoy with the arrival of a new producers’ market in the Madrid neighborhood, promoted by the Area of Economy, Innovation and Finance of the City Council of the capital.
In the case of Latina, will be launched in the coming spring: will start its activity in March and since then will open on the fourth Sunday of each month in the Europa Park. Specifically, it will occupy part of the municipal plot located in Fray José Cerdeiriña street with a turn to Fuente del Tiro street.
It will have a total of 42 stalls among which you can find meats, vegetables, fruits, vegetables, oils, natural juices, cheeses, dairy products, eggs and honey, sweets, herbal and herbal products, vermouth, wines, beers and spirits.
Producers’ market: guide by neighborhoods
The aim of these farmers’ markets is to bring “the food supply of local producers to the different neighborhoods of Madrid, without intermediaries”. And the next opening in Latina will allow that every weekend there will be a gastronomic fair in the capital.
Below, we detail them by neighborhood:
- Planetario (avenida del Planetario with turn to Meneses street): first and third Sunday of each month. From 10h to 16h.
- Villa de Vallecas (Ensanche de Vallecas avenue with turn to Cañada del Santísimo street): second Saturday of the month. From 10h to 16h.
- Latina (Europa Park): fourth Sunday of the month.
- Valdebebas (Francisco Asís Cabrero square, between Juan Antonio Samaranch avenue and Jordi Solé Tura street): fourth Sunday of each month. From 10h to 16h.
