This spring, the Puente del Rey esplanade in Madrid Río will host the first edition of an independent “gastronomicexperience festival “: the Ñam Ñam Fest. The event, which will last two days and be held in a space with capacity for more than 5,000 people, can already be marked in red on the calendar for May 9 and 10, 2026.
With this ambitious proposal, which combines gastronomy and culture, Tapas Magazine wants to make the leap from paper to real life with an event that goes beyond its role as a gastronomic influencer to become an effective bridge between what is being cooked inside and outside our country and anyone who wants to try it.
According to the organizers, this means that there will be national and international bars “where you can try hard-to-find cuisines with unique formats” and their T’s de Oro (Golden T’s) – restaurants awarded by the magazine, including EMi – with dishes created specifically for the occasion.
As for specific names, they have confirmed that the program will feature liveshow cooking by figures such as Dani Ochoa, Iván Muñoz, and Carlos Carande. Their raw materials will be locally sourced products from Madrid, such as oil, meat from the Sierra de Guadarrama, and wines with the Vinos de Madrid PDO.
Beyond food
As we mentioned at the beginning, the gastronomic aspect will be complemented by cultural programming that also includes comedy, music from local DJs, and podcast-style conversations.
Also noteworthy are its Ñam Ñam bites —preliminary gatherings in unique homes and spaces in Madrid with hosts from the cultural, social, and gastronomic worlds— a Food Lab —its radical gastronomy laboratory—and a Cool Supermarket, which is more focused on design.
