This Saturday, December 13, the Christmas Flower Market arrives in Madrid. Inspired by the typical markets of Paris, London, Berlin or Amsterdam, it will turn the streets into an outdoor garden, where you can buy the best decorations from 28 different florists.
The market will start at 11 am and can be visited until 8 pm. Its route starts at Jorge Juan street up to Núñez de Balboa, in the heart of the Salamanca district. Admission is free and the stalls will offer floral and Christmas decorations, as well as cosmetics, fashion and fragrances.
Designs straight out of a Christmas movie.

The Christmas Flower Market is organized by Vogue, the Association of merchants of the Salamanca neighborhood of District 41 and the Madrid City Council. As Vogue explains on its website, they want to transform Jorge Juan street “into a stage that could open any Christmas movie“.
Florists will offer their best products, including floral arrangements, Christmas plants and handicrafts. In addition, several high-end brands such as Lancôme, LOEWE Perfumes, LOPPO, Gucci Beauty, Lexus, Neutrogena, Lindt or Ralph Lauren Fragrances, among others, will participate.
And beyond luxury, the associations Fundación Prodis, Cabezotas contra el Cáncer, El Sueño de Vicky, Juegaterapia and Menudos Corazones will also be present. They will have their own spaces to explain their solidarity projects and contribute to maintaining the Christmas spirit.
A little house of Santa Claus

The little ones will be able to enjoy the market through Santa’s little house, run by the Barrio de Salamanca Merchants Association. It will be located at number 14 Jorge Juan Street, where they will be able to take a picture with Santa and give him their own letter with their Christmas wishes.
