BeerMad, one of Madrid’s premier craft beer events, is changing both its venue and format. The twelfth edition of the festival will take placefrom September 25 to 27 next to the Planetario Farmers’ Market on Avenida del Planetario, with free admission for the first time.
The event is moving from the Crystal Pavilion in Casa de Campo to an open-air venue next to Tierno Galván Park. The change is due to the fact that construction at the previous venue will not be completed in time to host the festival.
This year’s festival will feature a single, continuous time slot per day, so attendees can enter and remain at the festival throughout its opening hours. Children under 18 may attend when accompanied by an adult, and children’s activities are expected to be available, although alcohol consumption will, of course, be restricted to those of legal drinking age.
Beer, food, and music

The malt and fermented hop festival will bring together craft breweries, culinary offerings, and live concerts. In previous editions, BeerMad has established a format that combines tastings of very different beer styles with food trucks, tapas, and music—perfect for spending the afternoon or extending your visit into the evening.
Although the final lineup of breweries and the specific activities for this year’s event will be announced in the coming weeks, the organizers are maintaining the essence that has made BeerMad a benchmark for the industry: discovering local and international brews, sampling new releases, and talking directly with the brewers themselves.
