There is practically no corner of the Community of Madrid that does not have its own: medieval fairs fill the leisure agendas and in the case of Ambite, a small municipality in the southeast of the region with just 700 inhabitants -701 to be exact, according to the latest data from the INE-, converge its character of tourist attraction with the local legends in the V Medieval Fair El Caballero de Ambite.
The event will be held on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 August in the Plaza Mayor of the town and its surroundings with an extensive and varied program.
Among the proposals are from a craft market, a medieval camp or a fencing workshop to parades, sword fights with knights or a fire dance show.

How to get to Ambite from Madrid?
You can go by car following this route, which takes approximately one hour.
You can also opt for public transport: the intercity bus line 326, Argabus company, connects the capital with this municipality. You can consult its stops and timetable on the website of the Consorcio Regional de Transportes de Madrid (CRTM).
Medieval fairs in the Community of Madrid
As we said at the beginning, the boom in fairs and markets , both medieval and period, means that every so often one is being held in our region: Alcalá de Henares, Manzanares El Real, Chinchón or El Álamo are just some of the places where you can find them throughout the year.
