Is the festival season in Madrid endless? In the capital, we have almost five months of outdoor music, and the rest of the year, festivals take place in venues, stadiums, and arenas, where we can see our favorite bands on the same day, discover new ones, and revisit some of the bands from our past with nostalgia.
Of all the music festivals in Madrid, here is a list of the most relevant ones, including a wish list with a few musical getaways.

One of the most special and eagerly awaited festivals due to its idyllic location, excellent acoustics, the chance to see your favorite artists in an intimate setting, and a lineup that, for its tenth anniversary, is pulling out all the stops. Noches del Botánico celebrates its tenth anniversary with Garbage, two dates with Rigoberta Bandini, Ethel Cain, Lia Kali, Zaz, Jean-Michel Jarre, Biffy Clyro, Diana Krall…

Grecas, Pablo Chill-E, Juicy Bae, Jarfaiter, Sticky M.A., Soto Asa, Hard GZ, Al Safir… a new festival will land in Madrid next June with the big names of the urban scene (and those who will be). Day tickets and passes are now on sale.
Blockparty Arganzuela
The neighborhood festival, similar to New York’s “bloc parties,” returns to the Explanada Negra in Madrid Río on June 6 with a lineup featuring Texan band Die Spitz (seriously, just sharing the air with them is worth buying a ticket to this festival; what power on stage, long live rock), the band Mujeres, Uni Boys, Fast Kids, and Sandré.
La Carbonería del Galván
A new festival in the city (although the concept and the venue will surely ring a bell). The Tierno Galván Park auditorium will once again become the stage for a series of concerts: one night, one artist, for two weeks. It kicks off with a bang, with Rodrigo Cuevas presenting his Manual de belleza (Beauty Manual) on the magical night of San Juan. It continues with Miss Caffeina, Gipy Kings with Nicolás Reyes and Kiko Veneno, Albert Pla…

What will summer 2026 look like? Amaia, La M.O.D.A., Chambao’s 25th anniversary, Katy Perry, The Offspring, Molotov, Bomba Estéreo, La Casa Azul, are some of the names that already appear in the ninth edition of Río Babel. This summer, it will return to the Miguel Ríos Auditorium in Rivas-Vaciamadrid from July 3 to 5. Many artists (and comedians) are still to be confirmed. Day tickets and season tickets are already on sale.
Mad Cool

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Foo Fighters, Florence + The Machine, Moby, Pixies, Pulp, Kings of Leon, Lorde, The Blaze, Richie Hawtin… What isn’t on this year ‘s Mad Cool lineup? It’s a fair question. The festival will return to Villaverde to celebrate its tenth birthday with a lineup of more than 70 artists that is everything and more.
Inverfest
This concert series has it all: pop, rock, flamenco, classical music, and probably some genre that hasn’t been invented yet. This edition of Inverfest is entering hibernation with the last concerts in February, March, and May (The Clause, Juaquina, Leïti…) and will be back next fall with confirmed names for the new edition such as Margarita Quebrada, Víctor Manuel, Carlos Núñez, Barry B, Sidecars, and Carlos Ares. All the info here.
Iberdrola Music Festival

The Iberdrola Music Festival will bring together Lenny Kravitz, Manuel Carrasco, Ana Mena, Álvaro de Luna, and Lola Bozzano (and more artists to be confirmed) in a one-day music event celebrating the 125th anniversary of the electricity company.
