Following the blackout suffered yesterday peninsular level, the organization of the Mutua Madrid Open was forced to suspend the sessions of matches both morning and evening.
In view of this stoppage, today’s session has been rescheduled with some changes compared to yesterday. Today’s session starts at 12 noon, as usual, with Diana Shnaider’s match against Iga Świątek. The rest of the matches have only been confirmed through an Instagram post, but not on the official website.
The situation in public transport is getting back to normal, the Metro is already fully operational and Cercanías at 50%. So this is still the best way to get to the Caja Mágica, where the matches take place.
