There is a circumstance regarding the celebration of Christmas events in the capital and is that some of them are ahead in the calendar to what could be considered as the official start of the holidays: the turning on of the lights. The sixth edition of Naturaleza Encendida is one of them and will be open to the public from November 26 to January 6, 2025 (except on December 24 and 31).
On this occasion, Naturaleza Encendida LIFE focuses its show on the richness of the natural world and three great natural kingdoms will be represented: the aquatic, the terrestrial and the aerial. Thus, giant whales, octopuses, jellyfish and creatures from the abyssal world will be the protagonists of the show.
For the second consecutive year the event will be held in the Parque Tierno Galván, located in the district of Arganzuela. And it will do so not without controversy due to the privatization of this green lung -as well as other inconveniences expressed by neighbors and associations- during the five weeks it will remain installed, as analyzed by Nerea Díaz Ochando in this extensive report published in Somos Arganzuela.

Tickets for this sixth edition can be purchased through the official website of the event from 15€. The schedule is from 18h to 22:45h and there will be passes every 15 minutes, with a duration of the experience of three quarters of an hour. Access will be through Meneses Street, corner with the Planetarium Avenue.
On the other hand, as issues to be taken into account, the organization informs that the itinerary includes strobe lights that can “cause epileptic seizures or fainting in photosensitive people”.
