Madrid reinvents itself every summer, and this year the surprise comes in the form of an elevated terrace, festive spirit and, as a novelty, beach sand underfoot. Rita’s Paradays, the event that has joined the Madrid late night, has a new location and concept to become a very attractive plan for the summer season.
Located on the rooftop of La Vaguada Shopping Center, in the heart of the Fuencarral-El Pardo neighborhood, Rita’s Paradays has transformed this space into an urban oasis, where the heat only accompanies, not drowns. The atmosphere is reminiscent of the exclusive beach clubs of the Mediterranean, but without leaving Madrid: umbrellas, sun loungers, palm trees and, of course, the sand that invites you to take off your shoes and let yourself be carried away by the feeling of being on vacation.
The late afternoon at the beach comes to Madrid
The success of this terrace lies in its ability to merge gastronomy with music and a varied public, including families. From vermouth time onwards, the terrace comes alive with live concerts by emerging and established artists, creating the perfect prelude to an afternoon that continues to lengthen. As the day progresses, DJs take over and the dance floor becomes the epicenter of the evening.
Throughout the summer, the terrace will host themed parties that promise to be entertaining: from the colorful Flower Power to past celebrations such as San Isidro or St. Patrick’s Day, every event is a perfect excuse.
