Among the municipal pools in Madrid where you can cool off this summer, there is one in the municipality of Parla that stands out from the rest due to its unique features:“Playa de Parla”is the Saltwater Pool and Spa, known as “Playa de Parla, “ which features over 3,000 square meters of saltwater, a gradual entry mimicking the sea, and beach sand.
It is located on Avenida de las Américas and consists of three pools, ranging from a children’s pool to one accessed via a giant slide, and it won’t be long before it opens its doors: it will do so next Saturday, June 13, 2026.
In addition to this unique “beach,” Parla has a summer pool complex at the Francisco Javier Castillejo Sports Center with pools for children and adults, a lawn covering more than 8,000 square meters, and a picnic area.
Prices for the saltwater pool (“Playa de Parla”) in 2026
Prices for this summer season, both for Parla Beach and the rest of the municipal pools (those at the Francisco Javier Castillejo Municipal Sports Complex), maintain the discounts that were already applied in July of last year, and different rates apply based on criteria such as age or special needs.
Additionally, new features include a specific afternoon admission option ( starting at 3:00 p.m.) and the removal of the residency requirement for access to the various pools.

The municipal pools will be open from June 13 to August 30, 2026, and the hours of operation for all of them (including holidays) are Monday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
