Tickets to visit the altar of the dead 2025 at Casa de México in Spain (Calle Alberto Aguilera, 20), in Chamberí, will be available for the first time in person this year. This is what the organizers have exclusively told Madrid Secreto, as well as the theme of this year’s installation.
In a context in which we have become accustomed to the fact that everything can be done online -from day-to-day procedures to shopping and even studies-, we often forget that there are those who, due to issues such as the digital divide, cannot take advantage of this option and need (or prefer) to be in person.
Therefore, for the next edition of one of the most beloved activities by the public, Casa de México wanted to give visitors the opportunity to “purchase their tickets for guided tours in advance and in person, something that we have been constantly requested over the years.
How to get tickets for the Altar of the Dead 2025?

The theme of this year’s altar
As we said, we also know for the first time the theme of the altar of the dead of this edition: it is inspired by the Mexican cabaret, which has its roots in the early decades of the twentieth century, influenced by European cabaret.
Its design is the work of architect and designer Guillermo González, known for transforming spaces into memorable settings where magic, elegance and originality are the protagonists, according to those who know his work well.
The artist will arrange colors, textures and shapes with his personal aesthetic vision in an altar that not only pays homage to those who are no longer here, but also wants to be a reminder that “life, like the best of cabarets, must be lived singing, dancing and loving until the end“.
