A timer presides over the official website of Madrid Pride and contributes to the generation of expectations for an event that is almost half a year away. Pride is one of the most important events in Madrid and last week during the International Tourism Fair some information was anticipated such as the dates of certain events.
On June 28, which is International Pride Day, there will be the opening speech of the great LGTBIQ+ Pride festival: “a great festival to celebrate, debate and show diversity, whose central event will be the State Demonstration”.

Said demonstration will take place just one week later: on July 6. And it will be the day that will anticipate the end of the Pride celebrations in Madrid (also known as MADO), which will end on Sunday, July 7.
The epicenter of all the celebrations, as has become traditional, will be the downtown chueca neighborhood. Although it is anticipated, however, that it will reach other neighborhoods.
Details and specific names (such as the town crier or the singers who will perform) have not yet been disclosed. What is clear is that, as every year, culture will take to the streets in the form of dance, theater, painting, dramatized readings and, of course, concerts.
