La Quinta de los Molinos, the park of San Blas that shows off its almond trees in bloom every spring, presents an opportunity to attend with friends and family to more than thirty activities in the green heart of the district. It will be filled with cultural plans from the beginning of September to welcome autumn.
The Espacio Abierto Quinta de los Molinos, a center specialized in programming cultural activities for all audiences, has been in charge of organizing the autumn itinerary that will bring the garden to life over the next few days with performances by national and international artists.
On Saturday morning, September 28 and Sunday morning, September 29, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the company of choreographers Sharon Fridman and Melania Orcina will arrive to present La Quinta Dorada, a contemporary dance show in the form of an immersive experience that will integrate scenographies around the almond grove, the most characteristic landscape of the park.
Workshops dedicated to children will abound. There will be activities ranging from activities to create 3D characters (€6 per person) or initiation into the world of composition and stop-motion animation (€4) to silk painting classes (€6) and drawing to create comic scenes (€4).
In addition, there will be theater shows for the whole family. On October 26 and 27, Lupe Estévez’ s company will bring to the park its play Dentro de los cuentos, in which characters like Little Red Riding Hood or Goldilocks will give a twist to their own story.
There will also be movie sessions during the month of October. On Friday, October 18, the eighth edition of the International Educational Film Festival will be held with the screening of eight short films for teenagers starting at 6:30 pm.
