Who hasn’t waited until the last day to buy presents for the Three Kings? Between the frenetic pace of the capital and the number of plans that arise on these dates, it is normal to miss certain details. This year, those who still have nothing in mind to give to the little ones at home have been lucky: on the occasion of the Christmas holidays, the Toy Market will organize a special edition on Saturday, January 4.
A fair with 18 years of history
In 2007, a group of friends created the Toy Market to bring together collectors from all over the city on a monthly basis. At first it was only organized in the Puerta de Toledo Market, but over time it became a reference space to find antique toys, to the point that it is no longer held once a month, but three times, and in different places: Aluche, Ciudad Lineal, Ventas and many other areas of Madrid have hosted the fair.
This time, the market will be set up at Centro Comercial Valdebernardo (blvr. José Prat, 35) and will be open from 10:00 to 20:00 hours. It can be easily reached by bus line E4 or metro L-9. Those who go by car will have a free parking space.
Visitors will find retro toys, collectibles and more surprises for all budgets. There will be more than 25 exhibitors, including Playmovil, Madelman, Geyperman, Scalextric, LEGO, Nancy, FUNKO and Star Wars.
As this is a special Epiphany edition, children will be able to hand in their letter of wishes to a royal page boy and enjoy a Christmas diorama by AmClicks with more than 500 personalized figures.
