May 4 is a date of great significance for the star Wars fans as it celebrates the world day of the saga. The date is derived from a play on words with the iconic phrase May the force be with you, a motto, in the form of a greeting, that is present in all Star Wars films.
The Madrid Toy Market celebrates it with a free activity aimed at the whole family, which will delight both adults and children. On the one hand, attendees are invited to come in costume to the event. On the other hand, there will be professional actors in special costumes not found in Spain.
One of them is a gigantic Tarfful Wookie of 2 meters 40 centimeters, who will be accompanied by Jedis, Siths, Mandalorians and other characters from different galaxies. The event’s activities include lightsaber fights: several cosplayers will perform exciting duels to the rhythm of John Williams‘ unmistakable soundtrack.
In addition, toy buyers in the Toy Market will have the opportunity to participate in a drawing for various StarWars-related prizes. In order to participate, it will be necessary to keep the purchase receipt.
