The rugby will be played on the field… but the festivities will begin much earlier. Valladolid is preparing to become the world’s rugby capital for three days: the event will take place from May 29 to 31 at the José Zorrilla Stadium, where the world’s top teams (12 men’s and 12 women’s, and, of course, Spain competing in both) will vie for a decisive step toward claiming the international throne in this edition of the SVNS World Championship .
And this sporting highlight, this elite competition, is accompanied by festivities, live music, cuisine, and activities for the whole family. The José Zorrilla Stadium and its ‘fan zone’ will be more than just a stadium—they’ll be an experience featuring concerts and live music with Taburete and DJ Barce on Saturday, May 30.

Taburete and DJ Barce: Saturday’s musical third half at the SVNS World Championship

Taburete has been on the road for a few months now with their tour for the album *El perro que fuma*. Considered one of the most popular pop groups today, they will bring the folk-rock of their compositions on May 30 after the competition.
Joining them will be DJ Barce, who will keep the energy high with his eclectic and intense sets, setting the pace for the tournament that very afternoon.
Activities, food, and more festivities in the ‘Fan Zone’
The SVNS World Championship is conceived as a celebration of elite sport and of our Leonas and Leones 7s. The SVNS format is fiercely competitive, fast-paced, intense—seven players, 14-minute matches… pure sporting excitement and adrenaline at its peak.

A competition that places Valladolid on the world rugby stage and, for that reason, will be celebrated over the three days in the Fan Zone with various food trucks, a children’s area and inflatables for the little ones, World Rugby merchandise, drink stands…
