Behind the doors of Espacio Delicias, there’s not just an exhibition—there’s a scientific expedition to Pandora that transforms a cultural visit into an immersive (and surprisingly interactive) family outing. Avatar: The Experience doesn’t just recreate scenes from the highest-grossing film in history; it functions as a mission organized by the Pandoran Research Foundation, whose goal is to bring a fragment of Pandora’s ecosystem to Earth. And that central theme changes everything.

Here’s what the journey through Pandora inside Espacio Delicias is like

The tour of Avatar: The Experience at Espacio Delicias is designed as a scientific expedition arriving from Pandora to Earth. The visit begins in front of a life-size AMP suit, one of the RDA’s iconic exoskeletons featured in the saga.
From there, various interactive installations prepare visitors to engage with the planet’s ecosystem. Among them is a digital experience that allows you to transform into a Na’vi, as well as several rooms that recreate Pandora’s flora, fauna, and bioluminescent landscapes, combining physical sets, interactive technology, and conceptual elements from the universe created by James Cameron.

No matter what can be said about it, this exhibition is designed to be experienced with the senses: touching, smelling, and exploring Pandora’s ecosystem firsthand. Throughout the tour, life-size animatronic creatures appear (including Ikran hatchlings and other small mammals from the planet) that move and react, adding a physical dimension to a universe that until now existed only on screen.
The Na’vi tribes and Avatar’s ecological message

The tour also includes a brief look at how Pandora’s ecosystem was imagined and designed. Through various objects, models, and conceptual materials used during the development of the saga, it explains how this universe was visually constructed and the ecological logic that connects the species inhabiting it.
This part of the tour also highlights one of the central themes of Avatar: the idea of balance between species and nature, an ecological message that runs through the entire story created by James Cameron and is explained here in an accessible way, especially for those visiting the exhibition with their families.
