Medias Puri and Uñas Chung Lee are to Madrid’s nightlife what the Prado Museum or the Thyssen Museum are to its cultural life: must-see attractions. And although Medias Puri is probably better known, time has established Uñas Chung Lee as one of the most original options for partying in Argüelles. Especially now that, in addition to its characteristic shows, it also hosts events with prizes such as Mingo Bingo.
How Uñas Chung Lee was born
We could think of Medias Puri and Uñas Chung Lee as sisters from the same mother: LetsGo Company. They are responsible for creating both venues in 2017 and 2018, respectively. Uñas Chung Lee was born with the same striking essence as the Tirso de Molina nightclub, but with a futuristic Asian-inspired setting where everything is characterized, from the show to the actors.
Events and things to do at Uñas Chung Lee
One of the things that makes this venue one of the most iconic in the capital is that you can get your nails done inside. Yes, inside. A small nail spa is located right at the entrance to the nightclub, where your cuticles will be ready for the dancing that follows. In addition, of course, to its famous shows, known for the acrobatics of the dancers and a 10-meter dragon that roams the entire space.
But not all events at Uñas Chung Lee are just about partying (or, at least, not “only” about that). They’re also about winning prizes. And good ones at that: an Apple Watch, a scooter, a popcorn machine… Mingo Bingo is a fleeting experience that combines bingo and partying, which also takes place in this venue.

Places of interest nearby in Chamberí
Fancy a drink before heading to Uñas Chung Lee? Plaza de Olavide is one of Chamberí’s legendary spots, very close to the nightclub. It has recently been renovated, making a drink on the terraces of any of its (many) bars an almost obligatory part of the area.
But if you’re really looking for a more cultural attraction, the Teatro de la Abadía (Calle de Fernández de los Ríos, 42) has an exceptional theater program and is located in a former church. The Casa de México (Calle de Alberto Aguilera, 20) is also worth a visit. This large mansion is like a little piece of Mexico in the capital and usually has a great program of free or very low-cost exhibitions.
