Xiaomi has officially announced the opening of its first own store in Spain, based in the La Gavia Shopping Center (Calle de Adolfo Bioy Casares, 2), in Vallecas. Throughout the 157 square meters of the new space will be available from smartphones to smart home devices.
In the words of Borja Gómez-Carrillo, Country Manager of Xiaomi Iberia, they intend that “each visit is an approach to the experience of the Xiaomi ecosystem, where our technology improves and makes people’s lives easier”.
Thus, customers can learn about and interact with branded items such as headphones, smart watches, smart bands, televisions, robot vacuum cleaners, air purifiers or security cameras.

Although this new point of sale will be open beforehand, the grand opening of the store will take place next Saturday, September 27, date for which a ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled.
The event will be attended not only by company executives – such as Gómez-Carillo and Lu Zhang, Deputy Country Manager Xiaomi Iberia – but also by Xiaomi Fans, media representatives, influencers and the mall’s own customers.
Once up and running, according to the brand, the store will offer personalized attention and events will be organized “that will allow Xiaomi to strengthen its bond with the local community and generate constant interaction with visitors”.
