After the Christmas vacations, January is full of sales and new plans for the year. Although Madrid offers many options, traveling to other cities and countries is always a great attraction.
Starting today, airlines are lowering their prices, with destinations from 21 euros to travel in 2026. Iberia has started selling its tickets today for the period between January 10 and December 10.
Air Europa has also launched the “Time to Fly” campaign. It offers international tickets from 25 euros, which can be purchased until January 18 and can be applied to flights throughout the year.
Great cities at low prices
Iberia’s low-cost flight promotion began exclusively, aimed only at Iberia Club members. Today, January 8, it also opens its cheap tickets to the general public, trying to position itself as one of the most competitive airlines.
From Madrid it will be possible to travel to destinations such as Ibiza, Granada, Oviedo or Pamplona from 21 €. Other options within the country are Palma de Mallorca for 24 € and Valencia, Alicante, Bilbao, Santander, A Coruña and Seville from 25 €.
Internationally, you can visit European capitals at low cost. The most outstanding prices per way are to Lisbon from 25 €, London (43 €), Paris (47 €) and Amsterdam (66 €). All this reinforces the role of Barajas airport as a major connecting point, which at the end of last year also inaugurated a new destination in China.
The offer will be available until January 26. To get the best prices, the airline itself recommends on its website “avoid high seasons, buy in advance and be flexible in the dates and times of departure and return”.
Promotion until January 18
In the case of Air Europa, they have set a deadline of January 18 for their cheap ticket campaign. Until then, it will be possible to get flights from Madrid to Europe from 25 € and to Africa from 29 €.
And those who want to go further afield can fly to the United States from €189 and to the Caribbean, Central and South America from €275.
Although the promotion ends this month, the dates of the flights booked can be throughout the year 2026. Fares include return travel only and do not include checked baggage.
