Entering someone else’s house – free of charge and without the need to reserve an entrance – and everything in sight can be bought: this is how the street market that Alma Home Market is holding this weekend in Madrid, in the Chamberí district, works.
The format of this market responds to the emptying of houses, which is so popular both in the capital and in other cities. And in this case, the apartment where it will take place is the 4th right of Santander Street, 5, which has an area of over 200 square meters.
There will remain installed only on 3, 4 and 5 October selling a wide range of objects ranging from collecting to decoration for prices ranging from 20 cents to 300 €.
What will be at this weekend’s Alma Home Market?

In conversation with Madrid Secreto Javier Moran, the creator of Alma Home Market, highlights as some of the most notable items a Rosenthal glassware, tableware -one of them from San Claudio and another Portuguese- and appliances such as a washing machine, an oven, televisions or a refrigerator.
Visitors can also buy objects for the home and decoration, such as Persian and Turkish carpets of different sizes, beds, sofas, armchairs, paintings…. “And for collectors of pens and ballpoint pens, there is everything from Parker to Dupont.”
As for clothing and accessories, the variety ranges from cocktail-type garments to blazers, pants, blouses, dresses, handbags and costume jewelry.
