It’s not that we woke up in a bad mood because it’s Monday or that we don’t like this kind of events: Otro puto mercadillo is the name of the market that will be set up again at the Próxima Estación space in Madrid (calle de Aniceto Marinas, 10) this Saturday, April 5, from 4pm to 9pm.
This year, in addition to the 40 stands of different disciplines -illustration, screen printing, ceramics, jewelry, upcycling fashion, dental gems…- there will be some novelties: there will be an express makeover stand run by The bangs club and an introductory workshop to handpoke with Paula Nogales. Of course, as usual, there will be music and a bar.
With this edition -which is once again directed by the artist Anha Anha, as she has been doing since 2018- there are already no less than 62 gathering more than 1,500 attendees each time it is convened. The goal has remained intact since its origins: “to create a meeting space for independent artists where they can show their work” and, incidentally, connect with other people with whom they share interests.
