A week before the main celebration of the 2026 San Isidro Festival in Madrid, events related to these festivities are taking place at various locations throughout the city, one of which is the Railway Museum (Paseo de las Delicias, 61). It is there that, once again, this weekend’s edition of the Mercado de Motores will take place.
On May 9 and 10, the museum’s platforms will be filled with stalls selling crafts, food, and secondhand goods… as well as activities such as workshops for children and concerts.
Among these workshops is the abstract art workshop led by Rocío GMU, where you can paint your own fan—and, why not, show it off in the meadow afterward.

In addition, there will be a Mahou Space where, with the purchase of two tercios, you can take home a photo of San Isidro as a souvenir. For the little ones, the garden’s mini-train will be running and making trips according to the following schedule:
- Saturday: from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Sunday: 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
A guided tour titled “Play Mario Kart with Nintendo” is also scheduled for Saturday at 12 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m., with the meeting point at the Forbes stall (at the entrance).
