It was the largest and most luxurious ship of the time. The first in its category. That’s why it was named Titanic, like a mythological character. However, he ended up far from Olympus. It ended up at the bottom of the sea, like a cursed treasure. To this day, the tragedy that enveloped this ocean liner is one of those stories that are passed down from generation to generation. She has been the subject of books, documentaries, films of international fame (if not, just tell James Cameron) and exhibitions such as the one we have now in Madrid: The Legend of the Titanic.
The new exhibition on the Titanic is much more than a collection of photographs: it is an immersive experience by Madrid Artes Digitales (MAD), a company that has already brought to the capital exhibitions in which we have been able to immerse ourselves in major historical events (The last days of Pompeii) or in works by true geniuses of painting (Klimt).
This time, MAD invites us on an Atlantic cruise, departing from the coast of England for New York. A journey in which we will witness the overwhelming experiences of the passengers who boarded the Titanic that fateful April 1912, as well as the differences between social classes within the liner and the involution of the ship from its inauguration until the famous sinking.

The Legend of the Titanic will be available from September 12 and tickets will be available at the web page from MAD until October 13. There will be shows from 10:00 to 20:30 h. The general ticket price is €18.40 per person, although until July 31 there will be a 10% discount.
It will be held at the Matadero de Madrid (Plaza de Legazpi, 8), in the Madrid Río enclave, a three-minute walk from the Legazpi metro station (lines 3 and 6). It is also easy to get to the site by taking EMT buses 6 and 8.
