On Tuesday, June 10 in Madrid, free concerts will follow one another as if a small music festival had sprung up in the center of the capital. Netflix celebrates its tenth anniversary in Spain with a surprise mega concert that will bring together some of the most influential voices of the national scene: Amaia, Rigoberta Bandini, Pablo Alborán, Ralphie Choo, Dani Fernández, Omar Montes, Alleh and Yorghaki, Yami Safdie and Mygal, among others.
The event will take place in a special venue located between Paseo del Prado, 1 and Paseo de Recoletos, 2, next to Puerta de Alcalá, with doors opening at 19:00, pre-show at 19:30 and the start of the concert at 21:00. Access is free, although seating is limited and online tickets are already sold out.
During the concert, the artists will cover some of the most iconic songs that have marked the history of Netflix in these ten years, in a night that promises emotions, surprises and a red carpet with the presence of actors and actresses of the platform. The event is shaping up to be one of the great musical milestones of June in Madrid, adding to the wave of free concerts that fill the city and its metropolitan area throughout the month.
This series of concerts will mean that for most of the day the stretch of Calle Alcalá that runs from Cibeles to Puerta de Alcalá will be closed to traffic. The cut of this busy street will be a major impediment to the mobility of the city during the day.
