It’s rare for a headline from 2001 to still be relevant in 2026, but this is one of those cases: *Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone* is premiering (again) in select Madrid theaters. The return of this global blockbuster to the big screen will take place this month and will run for only a few days.
It will run from August 28 to September 3 to mark the film’s 25th anniversary and will take place at the ten Yelmo Cinemas in the Community of Madrid, with one daily screening as part of the +QueCine program, which offers alternative content to current new releases.

This may be a more convenient time for those planning a family outing where adults can relive the adventures of this wizard and introduce them for the first time to those who didn’t grow up with them.
Tickets and prices
Although there are still a few weeks to go before the screenings of *Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone* take place, tickets are already on sale on the Cines Yelmo website. The general admission price is €9.90.
To mark this special screening, Yelmo will also offer moviegoers a collectible mug themed after the film’s universe at the theater bar as a souvenir.
