Dragon House, the Game of Thrones spin-off series, returns with its second season this June 17, and to celebrate and promote the action, the Royal Collections Gallery hosts a small exhibition.
The most monarchic soap opera with dragons has chosen the brand new museum in Madrid with good reason: here are kept the artistic treasures of the Spanish crown, from the Visigoths to the twentieth century. The exhibition on the Max series -formerly HBO- will be an extraordinary event, because until now there had not been such a collaboration, and ephemeral, which will only last two days: from June 14 to 16. On the first day of the exhibition, the ticket to the museum will be free of charge.
what will be on display at the La Casa del Dragón exhibition in Madrid?
On the third floor of the Gallery, fans of the series will find the Targaryen room (not to be confused with the Austrias or the Bourbons). The main attraction of the exhibition will be the four original costumes, which will be exhibited as if they were the armor of Charles V -which is permanently on display in the museum-.
The four original costumes and their accessories have been created by the series team, headed by Caroline McCall. They have not yet been seen on screen because they have been used in the filming of this second season. Specifically, the costumes of King Aegon II Targaryen (played by Tom Glynn-Carney) and those of his brother Aemond Targaryen (Ewan Mitchell), a character loved and hated at the same time; also on display will be the dress and crown of Rhaenyra Targaryen (given life by Emma D’Arcy), as well as the armor of her consort, Prince Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith), heads of the Black Council.
